NOTICE OF MEETING

The Floydada Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors will meet at the Technology Center located at 105 South 5th Street at 7:00am on February 9, 2010 to act upon the following agenda. Items may not be taken in the same in the same order as listed herein this document.

AGENDA ITEMS

  1. Approval of meeting minutes for the month of: January 2010
  2. Review of financial report for the month of: January 2010
  3. Report on Executive Director’s activities.
  4. Discussion/Action to support wind energy expo at Unity Center.
  5. Discussion/Action to purchase promotional products from Script Printing in preparation for the wind energy expo.
  6. Discussion/Action to participate in High Ground Images magazine.
  7. Discussion/Action to make recommendation of tax abatement schedule to Floyd County Commissioners' Court.
  8. Discussion/Action in providing assistance to Wes Anderson for tax abatement on inventory associated with the purchase of NAPA from Johnny McDonald.
  9. Adjourn

The Floydada Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors reserves the right to adjourn into executive session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed above, as authorized by Texas Government Code Sections 551.071 (Consultation with Attorney), 551.072 (Deliberations about Real Property), 551.073 (Deliberations about Gifts and Donations), 551.074 (Personnel Matters), 551.076 (Deliberations about Security Devices), 551.087 (Deliberations about Economic Development Negotiations), and 551.088 (Deliberations about Test Items).
